Hello friends. Did you wonder where I went? It’s been a minute since I’ve posted. :)

A few weeks before Christmas, I was offered and accepted a full time position as Manager of Clinical Services of Child and Youth Mental Health Services at a leading children’s mental health agency. In addition to this, I am continuing to teach part time.

As a result of this incredible new opportunity, my Landry Fitness client spots have become limited, and I am currently booked beyond capacity, resulting in a waitlist for both my nutrition services and my online coaching services. I thank you for your continued support and patience and I look forward to working with more of you in the future when spots become available. Please know that while my social media presence will be limited, I am still here, watching and cheering you on as you work toward your wellness goals. ❤️💪

As always, Justin continues to offer high quality personal training services at two locations, in addition to online coaching and fascial stretch therapy.

One of the most common questions I get is: “How do you stay motivated?”

I don’t. I stay committed.

There are days when I don’t want to do my workout. I do it anyway.

I have three jobs and I get busy, so I don’t always feel like meal prepping. I do it anyway.

I don’t always want to wake up early. I do it anyway.

I don’t always want to prioritize rest and recovery. I do it anyway.

I don’t always feel like staying consistent when progress feels slow. I do it anyway.

I do these things because I know they’ll make me feel good and improve my wellness. Short-term pain for long-term gain.

You don’t need motivation—you need commitment. Commit to making choices that improve your wellbeing, whatever that looks like for you. Action breeds motivation, not the other way around. By taking consistent action, even when you don’t feel like it, you create momentum, and that momentum fuels motivation. (And doing all the things you don’t want to do usually only sucks for the first few minutes, then it starts to become enjoyable. Just start). 😊
