The Story Behind My Business Logo

In the early days of formulating my business plan, I spoke with a Registered Nurse who had worked directly with one of the Victoria area private, for profit homecare company owners. She described the owner as " a dragon with deep pockets surrounded by lawyers. Her background is in finance, not Healthcare. It's all about profit for her. Care has nothing to do with it."

My logo is inspired by this statement and my first hand, direct experience with that dragon. My logo is a modernized version of King George slaying a dragon. I really do view my business as a good versus evil mission!

Canada's Homecare crisis needs to end now!

Meet Turk my 6 year old German Shepherd who has been my constant companion ever since he was 8 weeks old. Turk was one of seven boys in a litter of ten. I met his litter at Broomeacres German Shepherds when they were 5 weeks old. In that meeting Turk picked me to be his forever buddy.

In April 2021 I suffered a traumatic spinal cord injury that rendered me a paraplegic. If not for reliable, quality and qualified homecare I would not be able to continue living independently in my own home. I would not be able to keep my beloved companion and buddy Turk.
