What an incredible evening at Patio Gardens for our first Behind the Scenes event of the year.

A big thank you to the Patio Gardens team for creating such a creative, welcoming space for connection and learning. Their ability to host engaging experiences throughout the year continue to make them such a valued part of our business community.

We also extend our sincere thanks to our event sponsor, ROGCS Construction Services, whose support made it possible for everyone to take home a hanging basket from the evening.

We had a fantastic evening filled with great conversation, connection, and creativity.

Next up: Canada Outdoor Kitchens
We'll go behind the scenes to learn the process of designing and building custom outdoor kitchens—and enjoy fresh Napoli-style pizza from their outdoor oven.

The Saanich Peninsula Chamber of Commerce is reaching out to local businesses and their employees to better understand how transit impacts workforce access, commuting, staffing, and day-to-day operations.

BC Transit is currently finalizing the Victoria Regional Transit Plan, which will guide service and infrastructure decisions over the coming years. As part of this process, we want to ensure the experiences and perspectives of local businesses are reflected in our feedback.

To support this, we've created a short survey for our members and local businesses to share their input. The responses will help inform our submission and ensure real-world business needs are considered in regional transit planning.

If transit affects how your team gets to work, how you staff your business, or how your customers access you, we encourage you to take a few minutes to share your experience with us.

Supporting your team looks different for every business—and for many, part-time staff are a big part of that.

One of the lesser-known benefits of Chamber membership is access to group insurance options that can extend to employees working 15+ hours per week. That means more flexibility for small businesses looking to support their people in a meaningful way.

If this is something you've been thinking about and you'd like to learn more, visit our website or reach out to the Chamber, we're always happy to connect you with our Chambers Plan advisor.
