There is one thing all my clients experience while being in the Peaceful Eating Path program.

🌱 Less food noise.
🌱 Less body criticism.

Here’s why.

Before coming into my program, they had never explored this critical part of themselves. No one has ever helped them work with this.

The only way we know how is by squashing it down, which never works.

This is a big part of the work in The Peaceful Eating Path program and it yields great results.

✨ More life to live.
✨ Less energy wasted.
✨ More confidence.
✨ Show up as yourself.

And the list goes on.

If you are interested in experiencing more peace with food and your body, book a free call with me to explore this further or send me a DM.

How do you choose what to eat?

When I was trying to heal with food, I mostly chose foods because I thought they were healthy. Or better, because someone else told me that they were healthy. Either a health professional or some sort of wellness influencer.

Two main things happened:

1. I didn’t feel satisfied after my meals.
This resulted in overeating, because I didn’t feel done and/ or still keep looking for more food after my meal.

2. I didn’t connect to my hunger and fullness cues
Because I was dealing with digestive issues, plus I was changing my diet constantly, I lost touch with my hunger and fullness cues. I didn’t feel hungry most of the time, and I certainly didn’t know when to stop eating.

Learning how to choose foods that I like to eat and work well for my body was a game changer for me and also helped me reconnect with my hunger and fullness cues, which stopped my overeating, binging and cravings, and reduced my food noise to nil.

This is a relearning process that is not easy, but mostly no one talks about how we should actually heal from food not with food.

If you are looking to create a more peaceful relationship with food and your body, this is the time to get started!

I have 3 spots to fill in my Peaceful Eating Path program in August. DM me for more details.

We spend so much time trying to change our bodies. Emphasis on trying, because our bodies are ever-changing and often we never get to our goal weight or ideal look.

We waste time, energy, experiences, money, and relationships worrying about the way we look.

Let’s invest this time and energy to reshaping our mind.

Feeling good in your body is purely a mindset. It has nothing to do with your weight or looks.

I know you don’t believe this because you have been conditioned to think otherwise and you see no other possibilities.

You only know the way where you control your body with food and exercise and no one ever told you that there are other ways. Ways that do not include restriction and punishment.

If you’re interested in learning a new way where you feel calm around food and don’t think about your body that often, DM me to chat more.

I hear this a lot. Let’s unpack it.

Sugar is technically not addictive, but it sure can feel like it.

Here’s the thing. When someone tells us that we shouldn’t eat something that we love so much, what happens?

We want it even more! It gets a hold of us, and we want it all the time.

But if you allow sugar to be part of your everyday life, it takes the attractiveness out of it. The pulling energy disappears. You can have sugar whenever you want.

When I explain this concept of allowing yourself to eat sugar whenever you want to my clients, their first thought is often that they will ONLY eat sugar all day, every day.

These thoughts come from a mistrust we have developed of our body. We don’t trust ourselves to feel in control around food.

The surprising thing that happens to my clients is that they suddenly crave an apple or broccoli. 🥦

That they actually find themselves saying no to dessert. Or only eat one cookie.

Changing beliefs around food and body, and learning to trust yourself again, are key steps in healing your relationship with food and your body. If this sounds interesting to you, DM me to chat more.

Some camping pics of our trip to the Okanagan last week.

We had beautiful weather and were still allowed to make fires! We swam, (I swam :), paddle boarded, watched sunsets, drank some wine, and ate delicious foods.

All while being outside 24/7, which was the real joy and challenge at the same time.

Now adjusting back to screen life 😔

But! There will be more camping this season! With .

Many of my clients do not come to me knowing they have a stressful relationship with food. It can be so “normal” for them, like this is just the way they have always related to food.

They have been told they just need to eat healthier and stop eating “bad” foods.

This is common advice, and works maybe in the short term, but never in the long term. It perpetuates a stressful relationship with food.

When I work with clients I take them through a completely different journey and guide them to rewrite their story around food and their body, reconnect with their body, and learn how to nourish themselves from the inside out.

I help them create a peaceful relationship with food while nurturing their health.

This is possible for you, even after decades of dieting or if you’re dealing with chronic health issues.

DM “PEACE” if you are interested to learn more.

We’re talking about overeating this week.

One reason for overeating is cutting out foods and food groups. Such as bread, carbs, fats, grains, animal protein, gluten, sugar…you name it.

I know sometimes it can be for allergy or sensitivity reasons, but many of us are cutting out foods and food groups because it is seemingly “healthier” or “better,” or it will make you lose weight.

Here’s the risk.

Cutting out foods from your meals can lead to less satisfaction and undereating. It can create a stressful and anxious relationship with food. Now you are worried about what you “should” eat and what the food will do to you. Will it make you sick? Will it make you gain weight?

Here’s the thing. Restricting any type of food will make you crave it, focus on it, think about it. Restricting food leads to dissatisfaction and you will keep looking for food to satisfy you.

Your body will make up for the restriction of calories. Your body will make up for the restriction of fats and carbs.

A more sustainable and long-lasting approach is to include all foods and food groups and eat well-balanced meals that leave you feeling satisfied.

What foods or food groups are you cutting out? Or have in the past?

As we transition out of the heavy, slow, and dark winter, it’s common to carry some seasonal imbalances with us—like sluggish digestion, sticky or smelly stools, congestion, skin issues, and emerging allergies.

During winter, our bodies accumulate more Kapha (the earth and water elements), creating a sense of heaviness. With spring’s arrival, we naturally begin to shed this excess, making it the perfect time to support our body’s “refresh” process.

By moving our bodies, soaking up the sunshine, and enjoying fresh, locally grown foods, we can help this transition feel smoother.

Foods with pungent, bitter, and astringent tastes have light and dry qualities that naturally aid in this seasonal reset.

The best part? Nature provides exactly what we need—right when we need it. As farmers’ markets start to bloom again, we’re given access to the perfect foods for spring cleansing and renewal.

Be mindful to not jump into these fresh summer foods too quickly as we want to ease our digestion into this.

Understanding your unique digestion type can make this process even more effective. If you’re curious about how Ayurveda can support you, DM me with “assessment” to learn more!
