I believe that each person is a unique individual and should be treated as such, rather than by implementing a one-size-fits-all approach to health and nutrition.

Did you know your immune system lives in your gut?
Our colon is full of excess toxins accumulated over time from medications/antibiotics, foods we eat, air we breathe, unfiltered water, and the lifestyles we live.

Are you in need of a Colon Cleanse? Here are some signs/symptoms to watch for:

- Allergies
- Food sensitivities
- Brain fog / Hard to focus
- Low energy / Fatigued
- Constipation / Diarrhea
- Bloating / Gas
- Low mood (depression)
- Low immunity (getting sick/colds frequently)
- Skin problems (acne)
- Trouble sleeping
- Trouble losing weight
- Unexplained stiffness and/or headaches

Being healthy on the outside starts with being healthy on the inside.

Want to add new and healthy recipes to your summer? Try these amazing Salmon Burgers with Mango-Thai Salsa. I promise, you won't be sorry!

INGREDIENTS (serves 4)
1 lb skinless salmon
1 large organic egg
1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 Tbsp low-sodium soy sauce or tamari
1/3 cup fresh, chopped basil
Zest of 1 lime
Juice of 1/2 lime
2 tsp fish sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp coconut sugar
1 1/2 cups halved cherry tomatoes
1 cup cubed mango
2 green onions, sliced
1 bird’s eye chili pepper, minced
1/3 cup chopped cilantro
1 Tbsp grapeseed oil

DIRECTIONS
1. In food processor container, place salmon, egg, bread crumbs, garlic, soy sauce, basil, and lime zest, and pulse several times until you have a chunky mixture. Form into 4 patties.

2. In large bowl, whisk together lime juice, fish sauce, sesame oil, and sugar. Stir in tomatoes, mango, green onions, chili pepper, and cilantro.

3. In large skillet over medium-high, heat oil. Place salmon burgers in skillet and cook for 3 minutes on each side, or until crispy on the outside but just barely cooked through in middle, to an internal temperature of 145 F (63 C). Alternatively, you can prepare the burgers on an outdoor grill over medium heat, making sure grill grates are well greased.

4. Serve salmon burgers topped with salsa.

Hello Burger Season! 😍
These vegan h**p burgers are the perfect balance of protein, fibre, and nutrients that will keep you full for hours! Cashews and h**p hearts are excellent sources of magnesium. Every single cell in the human body needs magnesium to function. Strong bones and teeth, balanced hormones, relaxed muscles, and of course a healthy nervous system.

Ingredients
2 cups grated carrots or unpeeled sweet potatoes (using a food processor)
2 cups filtered water, for soaking cashews
1½ cups kasha (toasted buckwheat groats)
1 cup raw cashews
1 cup h**p hearts
½ cup raw sunflower seeds
¼ cup filtered water, for soaking the flaxseeds
¼ cup red onion, chopped
3 tbsp. coconut aminos
2 tbsp. flaxseeds, freshly ground
1 tbsp. dried basil
1 tsp. pink rock or gray sea salt
Optional: ½ cup dried cranberries, sweetened with apple juice

Instructions
1. In a small bowl, soak the cashews in 2 cups water for 1 hour. Drain well. In another bowl, combine the ground flax and ¼ cup water and set aside for about 5 minutes until it gels.

2. Preheat the oven to 300 ℉, and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

3. Using a food processor, purée the soaked cashews until smooth.

4. Add the flax and the remaining ingredients, except for the kasha and carrots, and process until well-combined. Then, add the kasha and carrots, and the dried cranberries if using, and pulse, to avoid overmixing, until the mixture starts to form a ball.

5. Using your hands, shape the mixture into patties (about ¼ cup each). Place the patties on the baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes, flipping halfway through.

Makes 16 patties. Will keep for up to 4 days in the fridge or up to 3 months in the freezer.
