"Mackenzie believes that every person is unique. Not only should
each treatment be tailored to the individual person, but the client
should be an important part of decision-making. Everyone is the
expert of their own body, and she believes that the patient and
therapist should be a team, working together towards the common
the goal of optimal health.
Mackenzie graduated from the University of British Columbia in
2021 with a degree in Kinesiology. Always knowing that her path
lay in health care, Mackenzie discovered the perfect fit in
massage therapy. She graduated with honors from
Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in 2023.
To help facilitate the best possible outcome for patients,
Mackenzie integrates a variety of tailored techniques in her practice.
She uses techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point release, reciprocal inhibition, myofascial release, and PNF stretching to help relieve pain and discomfort in the body. Mackenzie has been grateful to expand her knowledge with a variety of experiences during her education. From specific treatments at SFU’s athletic department, relaxation massages for people in need at Ronald MacDonald house, to specialized neurological
cases at a spinal cord rehabilitation center (iCord).
As a lifelong dancer, Mackenzie has always been active. She started ballet at the age of 2 and found her passion in Irish dance at 7 years old. Mackenzie moved up the ranks in competitive Irish dance, traveling and competing at the regional, national, and international levels. After ranking 1st in North America and 3rd in the world, she hung up her dancing shoes for massage therapy. Dancing taught her discipline, time management, and developed a lifelong love for travel and movement.
When she is not massaging, she can be found walking her beagle puppy, teaching dance, and watching cooking shows."
