Y-Mind group will be POSTPONED by 1 week.

NEW dates are:
Program Dates (7 weeks): Wednesdays Oct 22nd – Dec. 3rd, 2-4:30pm in board room at Foundry

We still have spots open:
Youth must be 18+ with mild-moderate anxiety wishing to learn practical mindfulness based strategies to cope (based on ACT therapy model).

Youth need to attend 1 info session: Oct 1st OR Oct 8th, 3-4:30pm. Alternatively, Donna can also book an individual appointment for info/intake.

Foundry North Shore is offering a FREE Emergency First Aid COR/AED Course in partnership with Life Preservers First Aid Inc.

This course is for Foundry Work and Education Program eligible youth:

15-24 years of age
Engages in fewer than 15 hours a week in work, school, or training
Those in full-time high school, university, or work are NOT eligible
Not currently enrolled in another employment support program
Live or go to school in North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Lions Bay, or Bowen Island
Experiencing health and/or social barriers to employment

SMART Recovery for Youth has moved to a new date and time!

SMART Recovery is a support group for youth aged 17-24 who have concerns about their use of substances (e.g. alcohol, drugs, smoking, va**ng)

SMART Recovery meetings are a confidential, supportive space for youth to discuss substance use. Peer Support Workers share tools and techniques around motivation, urges, negative thinking, and living a balanced lifestyle. Youth are welcome to join at any stage of their recovery journey.
