Moment to Moment Gratitude: Active engagement with your reality.
As you focus your attention on what you can appreciate or be grateful for in this moment, you start to mindfully engage with your reality in a positive way. As you pay attention to what is happening around you and within you every moment, you can find many things to be grateful for. It is as simple as appreciating the sensations of comfort you are feeling this moment or the fact that you have everything you need at this moment. You can also be grateful for your abilities and positive qualities. This positive focus brings about a positive domino effect in your consciousness and your behaviours and eventually in your external reality. Try this experiment of moment to moment gratitude and appreciation and notice its effects on you and even those who are close to you.

Anchor your awareness through mindfulness meditation

As you learn to pay attention to your breathing and physical sensations in your body, you give your mind a new focus and this new focus becomes your anchor. Just as a boat that is anchored does not drift away into the ocean, a mind that is anchored is not swept away by the waves of thoughts and emotions. You then achieve stability of mind and have more clarity. Moreover, you will feel more in control of yourself and your life.

Why meditate?

Meditation is working with your attention. It simply involves choosing what you pay attention to and how you pay attention. In meditation, you practice letting go of what distracts you and choose to pay attention to whatever is the subject of your meditation. As a result, you develop and increase your will power and ability to concentrate. You also learn to be more patient and build tolerance because you learn to rise above your thoughts and feelings, as they come and go.

Mental Fitness Meditation Program

Join weekly meditation classes that will not only enhance your mental and emotional wellbeing by releasing stress, tension and anxiety, but also help you with achieving your peak with greater self knowledge, clarity, confidence, and feelings of mastery.
This is a six week program that includes breath and body awareness, deep relaxation, concentration exercises, guided imagination, and active imagination. You will learn the art of tuning into your own inner self and tapping into you own inner power and intelligence.
