Strength training rules! It's not just use it or lose it. It's strength training to counteract the natural decline in muscle mass as we age. If you aren't convinced, how about a 20% drop in mortality risk by adding 2-6 sessions of weight training in addition to your cardio.

This cohort study uses national data to explore the dose-response association between guideline-recommended physical activity and mortality in older adults.

Newly elected Physiotherapy Association of British Columbia Board Members!

Being involved with PABC over the last 7 years has been so rewarding and I look forward to my greater role within the organization. Thank you to everyone who voted for me and for inspiring my research on pain and patient experience.

Having just returned from the annual Physiotherapy Conference in beautiful Kelowna BC, I am reminded of how lucky I am to be part of this profession.
