What’s your favorite protein source? *Swipe for Chicken, Fish, Steak details and Plant Based Proteins!🍗🐟🥩 🌱 *

It’s important to vary your protein sources to get the different benefits from each.

Also, if you can, go with pasture-raised chicken & eggs, grass-fed beef & bison and wild salmon 🍃 It’s not the meat that has inflammatory properties but if they’re fed a diet of grains & antibiotics with little to no sunshine that can lead to less nutrients and other negative effects ❤️⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀
Benefits of the proteins shown:⠀⠀
Pasture-Raised Chicken⠀⠀
High protein source, lean, a good source of vitamin B6 & niacin.⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀
Wild-caught salmon⠀⠀
High in omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin D, selenium, vitamins B3, B6, B5 and potassium.⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀
Grass-fed beef⠀⠀
High in conjugate linoleum acid which has been shown in studies to lower cancer risk & packed with omega-3 fatty acids & antioxidant vitamins.⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀
Grass-fed bison⠀⠀
A lean source of protein, high in vitamin B12, zinc, selenium, niacin & iron.⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀
Pasture-Raised Eggs⠀⠀
High in choline, omega-3 fatty acids, contain carotenoids which are important for your eyes (lutein and zeaxanthin) plus packed with more vitamins & minerals.

Plant based proteins:⠀⠀
Black beans ⠀⠀
Lentils⠀⠀
H**p seeds⠀⠀
Pumpkin seeds ⠀⠀
Peas⠀⠀

What’s your drink of choice? ☕️ 🍵
by
Whether you’re a matcha lover or coffee addict, it’s great to get a gauge of where your caffeine level is landing. While there’s no guide to where you should exactly land, if you notice yourself feeling extra jittery, anxious or cracked out, that may be a sign you’re overdoing it in the caffeine arena. The amount can also vary wildly per brand so make sure to check in with yourself & how you’re feeling.

For people more sensitive to caffeine, matcha and green tea can often be a great choice not just because of the often lower caffeine levels but the L-Theanine found in these drinks that can help to balance out the jittery feeling often associated with caffeine while still helping to improve focus & energy.

Lastly, herbal teas are a great way to enjoy a delightlful drink without adding extra caffeine to your day.

Reminder that caffeine levels will vary by amount and brand so double check with your local coffee shop or brand sourced if you’re looking for the exact amount of caffeine in your drink.

*Average amounts listed for: 12oz nitro, 12oz cold brew, 12oz coffee, 1 espresso shot, 1 teaspoon of matcha mixed w/ 12oz hot water, 1 bag black tea, 1 bag green tea, 1 bag herbal tea*

Who else makes up excuses in their head? 🙋🏻‍♀️ is it normal? YES. Are you going to change your behaviour? Well that’s up to you and your perspective shift. I don’t claim to have things figured out. Life happens to all of us all around us. I find that physical health is always going to be important but second to mental health. Have you started on your summer bod? What program are you hopping on? Have you purchased gym essentials or the new pelaton? (Questions I ask myself daily) let me know down below. 1) what’s stopping you? What are your barriers? 2) what do you plan to do about them? I am going to be starting a full cleanse journey and I can’t wait to share it all with you. 🌽🥕🥬🥥🍇🍓🍈🍏🍓🥒🥑🥒🥬🌽🫑🧅🧄🍅🍉🍌🥬🍐🍋🍋🍇🍒🥭💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦Stay tuned!
