On September 30, we pause to honour the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. This important day is an opportunity to reflect on the history and ongoing impacts of residential schools in Canada, to listen to Indigenous voices, and to acknowledge the resilience of survivors, their families, and communities.
At Hear at Home, we stand with Indigenous peoples in the spirit of truth, healing, and reconciliation. We encourage everyone to take time to learn, reflect, and wear orange in recognition of Orange Shirt Day, reminding us that “Every Child Matters.”
