What does an Emotion Code Practitioner do?

An Emotion Code Practitioner is a trained professional who specializes in using the Emotion Code method developed by Dr. Bradley Nelson to help clients identify and release trapped emotions.

They are skilled in using muscle testing to detect imbalances in the body's energy system caused by unresolved emotional issues.

During a session, Karen Woodfield, Hypnotherapist, works with clients to uncover trapped emotions from past experiences that may be contributing to physical discomfort, emotional struggles, or behavioural patterns.

Using a combination of muscle testing and various techniques outlined in the Emotion Code, Karen then helps the client release these trapped emotions, aiming to restore balance and promote healing.

Emotion Code Practitioners are typically trained through certification programs and may integrate their services with other therapeutic modalities, such as Hypnotherapy, to provide a comprehensive approach to healing. The process is pain and medication free, swift, and according to her clients, extremely effective as a stand-alone treatment or integrated with other services.

Sick of Dieting? Tried every new fad there is? Nothing ‘working’? The Hypnotic Gastric Band program is now available through Karen Woodfield, Hypnotherapist! But what is it?

A hypnotic gastric band program is a therapeutic approach that combines hypnosis with the concept of a gastric band procedure to assist individuals in achieving weight management. Unlike actual surgical gastric banding, which involves placing a physical band around the stomach to restrict food intake, the hypnotic gastric band uses guided hypnosis to create the psychological effect of having undergone the surgery.

Here’s how it generally works:

1. Hypnosis Session: During a hypnotic gastric band session, a trained hypnotherapist guides the client into a relaxed, trance-like state. In this state, the therapist suggests to the client that they have undergone a gastric band procedure, which will help them feel full with smaller amounts of food.

2. Behavioral Changes: The hypnotic suggestions aim to alter the client's perceptions and behaviors related to eating. This can include reducing appetite, increasing awareness of portion sizes, fostering a healthier relationship with food and reducing/eliminating all the drivers that lead to emotional and habitual eating.

3. Ongoing Support: The hypnotherapist provides additional support, using Emotion Code and other hypnotherapy techniques such as Parts Therapy and Regression and reinforcement through follow-up sessions and self-hypnosis techniques to help maintain the changes. The entire support approaches what drives the need for certain foods, the belief in the person to reduce weight, the belief that they are worthy of reducing their weight and the safety of being lighter.

The goal of a hypnotic gastric band is to leverage the power of suggestion to help clients adopt healthier eating habits and achieve weight management without the need for surgical intervention. While some people find this approach effective, it is often recommended as part of a broader weight management plan that includes exercise, and lifestyle changes that are sustainable.

This program is a minimum of 8 sessions.
