Like many, it’s been a season of moving through big changes — while single parenting, tending to our wellbeing, and navigating travel along with exciting growth in both my day job and in my business 🙏

Some days felt like building.

Some days felt like grieving.

Some days felt like both at once.

🎧These 10 audiobooks are the ones I returned to (or listened to for the first time) as steady companions during moments of grief, growth, and redirection.

They reminded me that life’s unexpected surprises, rejections, and disappointments are often not derailments — they’re redirections — inviting us to rebuild our lives, self-worth, and our dreams in our own energy & values again.

Working in Fortune 500 companies taught me this: you will only succeed with the right team.

Ever notice how you shrink yourself to keep the peace? That’s fawning — a survival response, not your personality.

When we’ve lived through violence, psychological or emotional chaos, our nervous system learns that safety comes from making others comfortable.

It’s biology — when fight or flight isn’t an option, the body chooses fawn. 💛

But here’s the truth: you don’t have to stay small to stay safe.

Through gentle nervous system regulation — slowing the breath, grounding in your body, softening your jaw and shoulders — you can remind yourself: I’m safe now. 🕊️

From that place of safety, your voice returns. You stop apologizing for existing. You start speaking your truth, even when others don’t receive it perfectly.

Because self-advocacy isn’t aggression — it’s self-respect. 🌱

✨ You are allowed to take up space.

✨ You are allowed to say no.

✨ You are allowed to feel safe in your own body.

Gentle Reminder to pace yourself to slowly emerge back into your work week, school routines, life habits this week.

We are still in a season of hibernation - winter - a season of rest and reflection as we prepare for Spring - which is a more active season for productivity.

Listen to your body, it knows best. Take the pace, breaks and space that supports your body, mind & soul. 🩵

Fear will ask “what if”
What if I leave and regret it?
What if I stay and shrink?
What if I’m not as capable as I think I am?

Courage and hope doesn’t wait for certainty.
It answers with “even if.”

Even if I don’t have the full roadmap yet.
Even if this choice stretches my identity.
Even if I have to learn as I go.

I stay with myself.
I trust my capacity to adapt.
I choose growth over familiarity.

This is how aligned careers, wellbeing and life upgrades are built.

Not by knowing every step in advance.
But by trusting yourself through change.

Even if you’re afraid, you are still allowed to choose more 🤍 Feel the fear and do it anyway.

Most health crises don’t appear overnight — they build up when stress, tension, and disconnection weigh down the body.

In my mid-30s, I was trapped in fear, scarcity, and people-pleasing—driven by unprocessed grief and the belief that hyper-independence and over-achieving were my only safety. The pressure I placed on myself in my tech career, as a Mom, and (then) wife led to burnout, adrenal fatigue, and self-abandonment, all while ignoring red flags in my health, career, and relationships. I later realized I had been living in survival mode with a chronically dysregulated nervous system shaping every decision and area of my life.

The same goes for you.

Your nervous system is the foundation of your health. When it’s dysregulated, you shift into survival mode — fight, flight, freeze, or collapse. Reiki helps calm the energy system and release stored tension, while nervous system regulation tools (breathwork, grounding, gentle movement, restorative touch) anchor you back into balance.

Plus strategic coaching equips you with all the tools to put it into practice, assert your boundaries when necessary, and recalibrate the areas of your life that are out of alignment.
