Merry Christmas! Feliz Navidad! Buon Natale! Joyeux Noël! 

I love “Last Christmas” by Wham. But this year I decided to mix it up with my disco favorites. So I put on “Everybody Dance” by Chic. Pure disco energy.

Here’s what I know: Dance isn’t just movement. It’s communion. Every culture has known this since time immemorial.

The Sufis whirl. Indigenous tribes honor the earth. African communities use drums for ceremonies. Aboriginal Australians perform corroborees. Flamenco in Spain. Bhangra in India. Capoeira in Brazil. The Māori Haka. The body knows how to pray when words fail.

Plus the science backs it up: Research by Harvard shows dancing improves cognitive function. Studies show it alleviates anxiety and depression.

So this Christmas, I’m inviting you to dance. Not because you’re good at it. But because your body knows something your mind forgot.

This week, our Meditation on Twin Hearts session will hold a special focus: sending love, blessings, and positive energy to the people of Los Angeles who are facing devastating fires.

Group meditation is a profound way to amplify positive energy. Start 2025 with Peace and Purpose: Join Meditation on Twin Hearts Every Thursday

As we step into 2025, I’m excited to continue hosting the Meditation on Twin Hearts, starting Thursday, January 9th, at 12:00 pm Pacific Time on Zoom.

This weekly 45-minute session is a space to pause, reflect, and recharge—a time for you to connect with your heart, mind, body, and soul. The meditation, rooted in the teachings of Master Choa Kok Sui, focuses on activating loving-kindness and compassion within yourself and radiating that positivity outward to the world.

What is Meditation on Twin Hearts?
This meditation activates the heart chakra (the energy center of love and compassion) and the crown chakra (the gateway to higher consciousness). It uses guided visualization and loving-kindness to help release emotional blockages, promote inner peace, and align your energy.

What is Pranic Healing?

As leaders, our inner peace and mental well-being directly impact those we lead. Research shows that 70% of people say their manager has more influence on their mental health than their doctor or therapist. This underscores the critical role leaders play in shaping not just workplace culture, but also the mental and emotional health of their teams   .

💡 4 ways leaders can promote mental health at work:

1. Recognize the impact of your actions: Your decisions as a leader affect your team’s mental health, often more than you realize.
2. Foster connection: Cultivate a sense of belonging and create meaningful relationships in the workplace.
3. Offer choice and flexibility: Providing employees with autonomy can reduce stress and improve well-being.
4. Provide challenge: Encourage growth and learning in a way that empowers your team, while ensuring support is available  .

Leadership isn’t just about delivering results—it’s about fostering a space where individuals feel valued and supported. When we nurture our own peace, we create an environment where mental well-being can flourish.

We are here—90 days until December 31st!

It’s easy to feel like the year is slipping away, but we still have 90 days to make 2024 fantastic. Pick one habit you can master by December 31st, and let it set the foundation for a powerful 2025.

Inspired by “Atomic Habits” by James Clear and “Tiny Habits” by BJ Fogg, PhD, remember that change doesn’t have to be overwhelming.
Small, consistent actions lead to extraordinary results. Focus on tiny, manageable steps that fit into your daily routine. The secret to success isn’t in massive shifts—it’s in compounding small wins over time.

Instead of waiting for New Year’s resolutions, why not start today? Use these 90 days to build momentum, and let this one habit carry you into 2025 with strength and purpose.

For the next 90 days, I’m committing to turning off my phone by 8 pm every night. In our always-connected world, it’s easy to get consumed by distractions. By setting this boundary, I’m creating space for reflection, relaxation, family connection, and a more mindful end to each day—setting the stage for a balanced and intentional 2025.
