Some studies found that three key factors play a majority role in cravings:

❇️ Sleep 😴

Sleep efficiency is often associated with craving sugar. Studies show that people with poor quality sleep increase the frequency of their cravings. Overcome this by preparing a bedtime routine focoused on calming your mind for better sleep. Avoid caffeine after 3pm and leave your phone in the living room or study overnight. Practice a bedtime wind-down such as breathing exercises or meditation.

❇️ Stress

When you are stressed. It causes your adrenal glands to release the hormone cortisol , increasing your appetite and cravings. Take up journaling to help let go of the stress from the day. Set a specific time each evening to answer these three questions:
“I will let go of…”
“I am grateful for…”
“I will focus on…”

❇️ Dieting

Dieting is often to blame for causing cravings since you deny yourself specific foods, especially when you are on testrictive diet and you don’t eat balance meal. Improving the relationship with food through mindfulness may help control overeating, moving past restrictive diets.

❇️ Nourish your body: Remember, you are what you eat! Opt for whole, nutrient-dense foods that support hormones production and regulation
Incorporate plenty of fruits, veggies, lean proteins, and healthy fats into your diet. And don’t forget to hydrate! 💧

❇️ Stress Less, Live more: Stress can wreak havic on our hormones. Find healthy ways to manage stress, such as meditation, yoga, deep breathing or engaging in activities that bring you joy. Make self care a priority and give yourself permission to unwind. 🧘🏽‍♀️

❇️ Move your body: Exercise isnot just about staying fit, it’s also an incredible tool for balancing hormones. Engage in activities you love, weather it’s dancing, jogging, or practicing your favourite sport. Sweating it out releases endorphins and promotes hormonal equilibrium. 💃

Whole Orange Cake loaf

Very simple , moist and delicious loaf

Ingredients:
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup coconut sugar
- 2 cups flour, i used whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup+ 3Tbsp coconut oil
- 1 large organic orange washed and cut into pieces with the rind, but remove the seeds

Glaze: juice of one orange +
2-3 Tbs sugar

Instructions:

Preheat oven 350F..
Mix eggs and sugar with mixer until light and fluffy
- Add coconut oil and mix again
- Sift the flour with backing powder
- In a food processor or blender, process the whole orange until it is purred
- Add this orange to the cake mixer
- Add the flour to it
- bake for 50-60 minutes

Prepare the glaze by mixing orange juice and sugar, pour on the your cake when it is ready. I also put some grated orange peels on the top. It gives it a nice flavour and essence
