What?! Pepper Cream?
While I was researching about herbs, I came across pepper with its strong constituent called capsaicin. Although I add some dashes of pepper to my foods for its vitamin C, I rarely make them very hot since it overheats the digestive system; and can cause complications. Because capsaicin is indicated in many health issues, I decided to make pepper cream for topical uses. So, these are my own personal reasons:
1. My feet and hands start to feel cold during the cold seasons. Once I apply the pepper cream on them, I get immediate relief, and they start to feel warmer.
2. The heating action of the pepper is also indicated for muscle and joint pains. I’ve kept some amount of the cream to use for those situations.
3. Capsaicin is also recommended for hair loss conditions including alopecia which is an autoimmune condition.
4. Capsaicin is proven to be effective for migraine. I have no migraine but when I have headache, I apply the cream on my forehead; and the relief is almost instant.
5. It is also proven to have healing effects on skin issues including eczema and psoriasis. Rubbing it could remove a very tiny patch of eczema on my skin.
I am sure that the benefits of pepper cream are not limited to above conditions, and it can be utilized for so many other issues.
