All of our doctors have residency training in Anesthesiology or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. They have undergone ACGME accredited pain medicine fellowship training in world renowned hospitals in the United States. Until recently, the vast majority of injections to treat pain in Canada have been performed without the availability of real-time x-ray and ultrasound guidance. There has also been a nation-wide shortage of board-certified pain medicine specialists in Canada. It is our mission to provide compassionate care to Canadians using the latest technology and advancements to treat chronic pain. Following your initial consultation, our specialists will provide you with a comprehensive and individualized care plan using the latest interventional procedures, non-opioid based medications, and physical therapy. He specializes in interventional pain management and treats a wide range of musculoskeletal and chronic pain conditions.

Born and raised in Toronto, Dr. Vertes grew up in a family of physicians and was always focused on becoming a doctor. Outside the clinic, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and has a lifelong passion for sports. Having played competitive hockey growing up, he knows firsthand the challenges of living with injuries and ongoing pain ; an experience that allows him to connect with his patients on a personal level. He is committed to patient-centered care, working closely with each individual to manage their pain and help them return to the activities they love.

Letโ€™s welcome Dr. Jared McCallum to our team

After spending the better part of the past decade training south of the border, Dr. McCallum is grateful for the opportunity to be helping patients in his home province. Aware of the effects chronic pain can have on all aspects of ones life, he believes in a holistic approach including carefully selected procedures that can be a catalyst for change. The most rewarding part of his practice is improving patientsโ€™ daily lives and helping them return to the activities they enjoy.

Dr. McCallum is originally from the Windsor area. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, as well as staying active and watching sports. (He is cautiously optimistic about Leafsโ€™ prospects this year!)

Please help us welcome Dr David Snyder to our team

Dr Snyder is Originally from California, he completed his Pain Medicine fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic where he learned minimally invasive pain procedures
Dr. Snyder treats neck , back pain, headaches, facial , shoulder , hip, knee pain, complex regional pain syndrome, neuropathy, post-laminectomy syndrome, fibromyalgia, and more using the most up-to-date evidence-based techniques. His goal is to craft an individually tailored pain management plan for each patient which includes, but is not limited to, image-guided injections and nerve ablations as well as regenerative therapies.
Dr. Snyder earned his medical degree from the American Program at Tel Aviv University. He then completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Yale New Haven Health Sytemโ€™s Bridgeport Hospital followed by an anesthesiology residency at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. There, he provided anesthesia during complex open-heart, thoracic, pediatric, orthopedic, hepatobiliary, spine and brain surgery, was a member of the regional anesthesia and acute pain service teams, worked in intensive care during the COVID-19 pandemic, and provided care on the labor and delivery ward. He served as chief resident in his final year.
Prior to medical school he spent time living in the Republic of Panama coordinating the delivery of basic medical and dental care to remote indigenous communities in the Darien jungle. Dr. Snyder speaks English and Spanish.
