The U.S. Dietary Guidelines 2025–2030 finally sound… normal.

Eat real food 🥩🥚🥦
Protein at every meal.
Full-fat dairy.
Vegetables, fruit, healthy fats.
Less ultra-processed food and refined carbs.

No extreme rules.
Just a return to basics that actually support metabolism and hormones.

I overlooked ferritin for too long. I was told my levels were fine over a decade ago and they were 32 ug/L (pretty low)....

I overlooked ferritin for too long. I was told my levels were fine over a decade ago and they were 32 ug/L (pretty low). I did take iron supplements but levels never increased so I stopped and forgot about it. Fast forward to a few months ago when I got them checked again. Levels were at 66, not horrible but I had all the horrible symptoms. Within a few weeks of supplementing and supporting stomach acid & digestion my energy among other things increased exponentially. It’s definitely something not to ignore, it affects everything and especially in peri-menopause!

What a great email to open this morning!

She’s not wrong. I am a lil obsessed with getting my clients feeling their best and avoiding pharmaceuticals when possible. We don’t have a pharmaceutical deficiency. Those are bandaid solutions.
