Yesterday was AMAZING! Our first session at the new North York location and we're officially in love with this space 💙

Two beautiful, spacious rooms mean kids can physically transition between blocks — moving from one room to the next helps create clear boundaries between activities and makes those transitions so much smoother.

Seeing new faces AND returning families made it even more special. Watching kids reconnect with friends and new friendships start forming? That's what it's all about🔌

This is a global initiative focused on shifting the narrative from a "deficit" model to one that recognizes the strengths and talents of neurodivergent individuals.

It’s about moving from simply being "aware" that our brains are different, to actively designing environments where EVERYONE can thrive🧠

What we are talking about this week:

📈 Embracing the Spiky Profile: Understanding that extreme talent often coexists with deep challenge—and that’s okay.

🔋 Sensory-Informed Spaces: Auditing our public and professional worlds for sensory load to reduce cognitive fatigue.

🛠️ Universal Design: Making flexibility and clear communication the standard, not the exception.

The 2026 Oscars handed out a blueprint for neuroinclusive storytelling. 🎬✨

Why does this matter?
▫️When neurodivergent traits are shown as STRENGTHS, not limitations
▫️ when they're central to the story, not just background details
➡️it shifts how society sees ADHD, Autism, and different ways of thinking.

"Bugonia" won Best Adapted Screenplay for making neurodivergent thinking the CENTER of the story. Jesse Plemons' character Don doesn't just "have ADHD traits" — his hyper-fixation and unique social processing ARE the narrative engine. The whole sci-fi mystery unfolds through his perspective.

Add to that "Sinners" using inclusion riders to hire neurodivergent crew behind the camera... and "Marty Supreme" celebrating special interests as competitive advantages...

Hollywood is FINALLY catching up to what we've always known: different minds make brilliant art.

Hard to believe this was class 6 out of 7 for our Winter Season! 🥹
