We’re half way there until draw date!

Everyone here at The Willows is living on a prayer that all of the tickets for the $20,000 DREAM VACATION (or alternatively $19,000 pay out) will sell out 🙏 WITH YOUR HELP WE CAN DO IT!

So until June 23rd, take our hand and help us make it to our goal by buying a ticket. The draw date is on June 25th. Tickets are $50 each.

Today is National Caregiver Day, an opportunity to raise awareness of the efforts of the almost 8 million caregivers in Canada who are providing care for others. Today and every day we would like to say Thank You for everything you do, seen and unseen, to support your family member or friend with dementia.

To mark this important day, we are pleased to officially announce the launch of our NEW Souris Caregiver Support Group on April 22 from 10:00 - 11:00am.

Caring for someone with Alzheimer's disease or dementia can be incredibly demanding and isolating, and these groups aim to provide a safe and supportive environment of mutual understanding, shared strategies, and meaningful connection. We offer support groups Island-wide, with bi-weekly or monthly meet-up’s also happening in Charlottetown, Summerside, Montague, and O’Leary.

I also wanted to acknowledge to the United Curch Sunday schools for the Easter treats as well as Shirley Perry’s family for bringing in Easter basket treats for our residents which they sooo enjoyed. Thank you so much for making their day. Much love 💕

We did some late Easter holiday activities. We had Egg rolling races, our yearly Easter Egg Hunt congratulations to Barb for finding the special golden egg and Alma for finding the most. Afternoon crafts making spring wreaths. An awesome Roast beef dinner provided by our Willow Bee 🐝 ladies that the kitchen cooked and topped of by cupcakes and ice cream for dessert.Thank you ladies
