Guy Friswell Yoga I view teaching yoga as a joyful extension of my personal yoga practice. I teach weekly classes at One Yoga Victoria and Yoga Lab Victoria.

I offer a fusion of powerful hatha yoga postures, flowing vinyasa and meditation in my classes, all with a view to connecting you with your deepest, most authentic and peaceful self. I am passionate about all things yoga, and always eager to share this passion, both one-on-one and in a class setting. My practice and teaching are a fusion of influences, including the inner focus on the vayus in the Vijnana tradition, the breath-centric movement principles of Vinyasa Krama, the intuitive alignment principles of Erich Schiffmann, and the contemporary yoga philosophies of Donna Farhi and Michael Stone. I am strongly committed to fostering yoga community and I have a voracious yoga reading habit. My teachings are a reflection of my personal practice – a fusion of styles and a continuing journey – and always with a twist of wry humour. Hip Mobility Practice — Here’s a multi-level, accessible hip mobility practice from the oft-used 90:90 position. I’d say always do the warm-ups, even if it seems too simple. The idea is to get your body ready to take on a bit of a challenge. Then pick the progression that works best for you. Enjoy!
