Manual osteopathic practitioners diagnose and treat somatic dysfunction using manipulation of the patient’s bones, muscles, fascia, viscera, etc. A manual osteopath will focus on the joints, muscles, and spine. Treatment aims to positively affect the body's nervous, circulatory, and lymphatic systems. Osteopathy can help treat a number of disorders, such as: back pain, headaches, migraines, tennis elbow, sleep and digestive issues, fibromyalgia, postural problems, and more! Osteopathy may also be used to treat injury such as whiplash, sprains and strains and to encourage healing after fractures. Furthermore, manual osteopaths work with populations such as: pediatrics, obstetrics, and everything in between!

It’s that time of the year again! 🍲 Getting ready for the colder months means being prepared when the immune system can potentially be weaker.

Homemade bone broth for soups, stews, etc. has ALWAYS been one of my go to staples for assisting my body during these seasons.

It’s so simple to make and you can freeze for when you need it!

DM me if you’d like the recipe and have a Happy end of Summer and beginning of Fall! ☀️ 🍁 🌺

Receiving regular acupuncture treatment for acute or chronic conditions can be so beneficial.

I have chronic low back pain and it has been making a BIG difference. I have never been the biggest fan of receiving needles, but I am learning to trust and accept them for my healing.

Here in the West we associate needles with fear, pain, and discomfort. However, in other parts of the world they are a regular form of treatment and are normalized.

The needles that are used in acupuncture are more than 10x smaller than traditional needles used in injections or getting blood drawn. Most of the time you cannot even feel acupuncture needles, or only with very mild discomfort (initially).

If you’re curious or would like to learn more about this ancient healing modality that has been around for thousands of years, feel free to reach out!

My ear has arrived! These are the kinds of things that excite me these days 😆

Ear acupuncture (and ear seeds) have many benefits and you can treat the whole body using them! Our body is made up of many ‘Microsystems’ and mirrors itself. The body has so much intelligence L, it blows my mind on a daily 🤯 Fascinating, I know! 😀

Have you tried ear acupuncture?

As I embark on this huge undertaking of being a student again I have a lot of thoughts and emotions. Should I do it, shouldn’t I, what will I gain, what will I sacrifice, etc. etc. But, I made a promise to myself that I will stay true to my inner voice that will guide me through this journey. I am excited, nervous, and looking forward to where this next path will lead me 😊
