A prolapse diagnosis doesn’t automatically mean no running or lifting.

Outdated advice has kept a lot of women on the sidelines way longer than necessary.

Swipe to see where I actually land on this and what I think matters more than your prolapse stage.

Your pain is real, but it might not be coming from where you think.

When pain lingers for weeks or months, it’s often less about tissue damage and more about a nervous system that’s stuck in “danger” mode. Think of it like a smoke alarm that keeps going off even when there’s no fire. This is incredibly common with chronic pelvic pain, and it’s not in your head.

The good news? A sensitized nervous system can be calmed down and healing is absolutely possible.

Let’s normalize the convo around pelvic organ prolapse — because it’s not rare, it’s not shameful, and it’s definitely not something you need to just “put up with.”

Whether it’s pressure, bulging, or a general “something feels off down there,” so many women experience this — and yet barely anyone talks about it.

Here’s the good news: support exists.
Your body isn’t failing you. And you’re allowed to want more than just “managing” — you deserve to feel confident in your body again. 🫶🏼

If you’re this person, it may be time to rethink your bathroom routine. Frequent urination can disrupt your life and may signal that your bladder needs a little retraining. Bladder training is a powerful technique that can help extend the time between trips to the bathroom and improve your pelvic health. By gradually increasing the intervals between visits, you can help your bladder hold and stretch more comfortably. 💪🏼 🚽

Truth time: physios actually receive very little training on identifying and treating pelvic organ prolapse (POP). It was my own diagnosis that pushed me to become an expert and realized, while pelvic floor strengthening is crucial, it’s just one piece of the puzzle. I wish I’d known more when managing my own journey, so now I’m here to share those insights with you!

There is so much more than just kegels when managing a prolapse.
