An appreciation post for the world of online yoga classes 🫶🏻
Thanks to the pandemic, the world of online yoga and fitness grew tremendously and while I appreciated it back then, I appreciate it even more now as a mom!
I had every intention to make it to a studio class this morning, I signed up at the beginning of the week and everything…then little monkey woke up every hour for the 3rd night in a row and so I gifted us with an extra hour of sleep and a slow morning instead.
“She believed she could, then her baby woke up at 12am, 1am, 2am, 4am, 5am, and 6am, so decided she could not” 😅😂
I really do miss the energy of a studio class and the freedom to go to a class whenever I wanted to, but sometimes I just have to be home with my little guy because that’s what’s most important right now. It’s hard sometimes to accept this, but like all things in life this too shall pass, so I’m leaning into everything that this season of motherhood brings - the beauty and the hardships.
Thank you online yoga community for giving me the option to take a class in my living room 🥹
This is exactly why I opted for my new program The Mama Movement to be an online program - as much as I would LOVE to get a bunch of moms out to a studio 2x a week, I know that can be TOUGH! This gives all of us the flexibility to be home with our little ones and tend to them if needed while still getting in some time to take care of ourselves and fill up our cups so that we can show up as the best mamas for our little monkeys 💖
