Who we are / what we offer at The Arterie in Burlington:
* a collective of diversely trained therapists (psychotherapy, social work, art therapy, psychology, MD psychotherapy, psychoanalysis), all creative social entrepreneurs and mental health professionals.
* Sarah Brodie and Claudia Corradetti are the co-founders and co-owners/operators, where we have practiced as art therapists and child therapists for over a decade.
* we cross-refer a lot, in-house, and offer bi-weekly peer consultation meetings to discuss clinical and business matters, as well as welcome spontaneous camaraderie in the work day.
* we are all seasoned therapists who operate family-friendly practices, where many of us work
with children. We all use a trauma informed approach.
* we have shared space of an ample waiting room, full kitchen, and three bathrooms. House
includes six well-lit, pretty consulting rooms, with large windows in every one. Group space available on request. Free parking and ground floor entry with future plans for an accessibility ramp.
* the house was recently totally renovated and is clean & very well cared for by us, as occupants, and regular cleaning service. Amazing location; walking distance to lakeshore.
* each occupant’s rent is a comprehensive price that includes rent/utilities, snow removal, landscaping, yearly window cleaning. Additional expenses include monthly shared expenses of $30/mo (internet, plus miscellaneous products for shared spaces/ bathrooms) plus rotating bi-annual payment schedule for professional cleaning service. Total monthly costs for full- time leases range between $1100-1400 /mo. plus HST
* availability for January 2025 and Spring 2025 (negotiable). * location: 384 Guelph Line, Burlington, ON.
