Live music in action!

Research shows that music and movement support emotional well-being, social connection, and self-expression - and this session was a beautiful example of that in real life.

From confidence on the dance floor to shared laughter and rhythm, moments like these show how powerful music and movement can be 💛💃🕺

Something about icy days calls for cozy plans ☕❄️

With the roads a little too slippery for outings, we stayed in and turned a kitchen clean-out of our cupboards and freezer into Adults in Motion Café for the day.

Hot chocolate, cake, chips, and lots of smiles - proof that sometimes the best moments happen right at home base.

Safety first, creativity always… and because everyone deserves a little treat sometimes 🥰

In January, we celebrated 2 years with Danielle as part of the Adults in Motion team 💙

Over the past two years, Danielle has brought so much laughter, energy, and personality into our program. Her great sense of humour and love of dancing can turn an ordinary moment into something fun, making everyone around her feel relaxed and welcome.

Danielle also seems to know the most wonderfully random things and is always ready with a fun fact, a helpful tip, or a spark of conversation that keeps things interesting 😅.

We are so grateful for the heart, positivity, and dedication Danielle brings to Adults in Motion every day. Thank you, Danielle, for everything you do and for being such an important part of our community. We are so lucky to have you 🎉💙.

Today is a day for getting things DONE!

With one crew taking our van in for an oil change and another reorganizing our kitchen storage, we are feeling ready for the week ahead 😎.

Life skills are best learned when tasks are done WITH not FOR

And now we’re off to shoot some pool 🎱. Sounds like a great Monday if you ask us ;).

What’s your fave holiday?!

Christmas is the talk of the town right now but as we head on into December we can’t wait to learn about all the December holidays that also happen at this time of year!

If you’ve got a holiday tradition you’d like to share, we want to hear about it!

We had the honour of spending time with Master Corporal Keddy to learn about Remembrance Day and what it means in Canada ❤️🇨🇦

It was a meaningful opportunity to listen, share, and reflect on the many ways people serve and contribute to peace and community - both past and present.

We’re so thankful for the time, stories, and knowledge shared with us, and for the chance to connect and learn together as a community!

Thank you to Master Corporal Keddy and The Argyll Sutherland Highlanders!
