My social media sabbatical is fast approaching. And I’m looking forward to the magic that’s about to unfold in my life! 🍂❄️🌷🌞

The Alchemy of Art. 💎

There will always be tragedy in our lives; we can’t avoid this part of the journey.

But in the midst of hardships, we can look to the blue horizons for hope and inspiration? 🦋

I will never forget the day that I opened this package & pulled out my first freshly printed poetry book.

There was far more than this feeling of accomplishment, it was the feeling of grace.

I knew that I had channeled the most divine love in this process of this creation.✨

Even with the extremely late nights, the numerous sketches and paintings, the hours on end of listening, conceptualizing, designing. I just couldn’t stop pouring my heart into this project. It was all worth it.

I had expressed the the beauty of another’s soul onto these pages. And honoured him in a way that I was being called to.

I was moved. My family was moved. 😍

I remember when the download first came to me. It was shortly after someone very close to my family had suddenly died. Everyone was grieving & absolutely heartbroken.

During this time, I was shown a few of the poems that he had wrote in the many years before he passed away. They were written on separate pieces of paper, found in an old box.

In that moment I knew this was my thesis. This was the direction I needed to go. A keepsake for the people I love.

And up until that point during my Illustration degree, I was struggling. Struggling to find consistency in my message, my aesthetic, my powerful voice as a Visual Artist.

But this. This represented me, my pure intention, my heart, & my soul! 🌈

Cultivating confidence through courageous action, is essential when it comes to our Artistry.

No matter what the art form, it still takes us being more vulnerable than we’re often comfortable with.

And being vulnerable demands that we change our habits, mindset, boundaries, and so much more.

Maybe she was born with it, OR maybe she spent years devoted to developing her craft. Probably both. 💫

Being born seeing spirit or having psychic downloads, or not. What often differentiates a powerful medium or channel to one who isn’t that great, is more often the devotion to their craft.

It’s being in the energy of:
“I am a student of this work for life!”

Like my mentor Janet Nohavec said: it’s a “Process of unfoldment.” It’s not an overnight, fast track course to fully embodying this.

It takes years of study, and practice, and a wide array of life experiences. And then some!

It’s some parts a naturalness sure, maybe we are born empathic, highly sensitive, with abilities that are already emerging; but it’s many more parts the investment into out souls expansion.

It takes effort. Until it one day feels like effortless effort.

How do we honour and harness that power? How do we have boundaries with it? How do we serve others with it?

Building the integrity of the role we have.

Spirit rewards those who show consistent commitment. And Re-commitment when we fall off our rituals.

My next group reading is here! 💫

It’s interesting how sometimes my best work comes through in my heaviest times of grief.

In a way I put my own stuff on the shelf, but I realized in an even bigger way, it’s often my gateway to being a powerful channel.

Maybe that’s when I’m actually the closest to unseen realms! 🌌

If you’ve never had a private reading from me before, an intimate healing circle is a beautiful entry point to this sacred work.

I become a conduit for messages from your loved ones, guides, allies; but also collective themes within this stage of consciousness.

It’s incredible the synchronistic insights and calls to action that show up for humanity. And even through the screen, the potency and magic is palpable every single time.✨

The spirit world is so intelligent.✨

There’s a vast understanding of divine timing in a way we can’t grasp just yet.

This week I was feeling quite exhausted. My life has been endless doctors appointments lately, & thought I should probably sit this session out to be in integrity to my group.

I had started working with a couple new mentors, as I’m always keeping my abilities sharp & fine tuned. We meet once a week to nurture our relationship to the unseen realms.

Long story short, something in me said: “Nope you still have to show up! There’s something here for you, and for others.”

To my pleasant surprise, not only did I end up anchoring and unfolding a beautiful link, even in my tired state. But a sweet child also came through, a young boy, which I haven’t had a ton of in my mediumship through the years.

There’s a bit of a temporary resistance in those moments. As I know how sensitive I intend to be in my language and super thoughtful of my delivery. All without being caught up my rational mind. It can be tricky.

I was immediately shown these two hands intertwined, that of a mother and child. And a prominent triangle pointing up towards the ethers. Representing spirit, the sitter, & the medium.

Through the visions came the message.

“Your child crossing over, he says this opened the floodgates to your psychic and mediumistic channels. He’s now become your gatekeeper, your link, to your abilities expanding.”

Her nodding and smiling at me as I spoke. Grateful for the affirmation to what she was already experiencing so viscerally in her life.

Although bitter sweet, as there must be no greater pain than the loss of a child, her souls contact cracked open because of his tragic passing.

And I could resonate!

Quite synchronistically, I have a podcast interview this week with a past client of mine who’s gone through this kind of loss

We’ll be chatting about how grief can be a catalyst for this spiritual awakening. How my journey of losing my two best friends led to a deeper ownership of own gifts. And demystifying it all, just enough, so others realize their own capacity to have this beautiful connection too! 💫 xx
