Lorena is the director and Registered Psychotherapist at Harmony Counselling. We also offer school consultation and support.

Harmony Counselling is a group private practice that provides counselling and psychotherapy services for adults, children, youth and their families. Our goal at Harmony Counselling Services is to help your family to re-gain harmony and wellness. We provide individualized treatment for children, youth, and parents when children exhibit social and emotional challenges and problematic behaviour. Our family-centered philosophy addresses your family difficulties with understanding and patience, and guides you in the right direction to create lasting change within your family.The therapeutic approaches and interventions utilized in our practice are evidence-based and are modified or compiled depending on the needs of our clients to ensure that receives the best treatment to improve relationships, behaviours and academic performance. Our therapy specialties include: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Behaviour Therapy, Collaborative Problem Solving, Social Skills Training, Strength-based Approach, Play Therapy, Dialectic Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Psychodynamic Therapy, among other approaches.

It is time to get ready for the upcoming CRPO Exam! Fall 2025 sitting: October 22, 23, 24.

At Harmony Counselling, Lorena Patrucco, RP, Supervisor and Director of the clinic, has been offering these 2.5-hour workshops for the past 5 years, consistently receiving excellent feedback from participants. The sessions are comprehensive and thoughtfully designed—not quick-fix crash courses.

Lorena focuses on ensuring that every attendee understands the content fully, while also learning how to stay mindful and make informed, strategic choices throughout the process.

Workshops include interactive practice exercises, and all reading materials are provided upon registration, so participants can come prepared and confident—without the stress of gathering resources themselves.

We are excited to introduce our new Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) MACP Candidate - Intern, Tara Gratto. Tara is offering affordable fees and/or pro-bono (free) services to our community! Therapy online or in-person!

Tara brings with her a strong academic backgorund in child development, social emotional learning and parenting/family guidance and support.

This online therapy group (for teens aged 13 to 17) would offer teens a sense of community through the use of board games, activities, and group discussions. The group is kept small (4-6 participants) and it is facilitated by Registered Pshychotherapists (qualifying).

We are thrilled to announce our New Self-Esteem Therapy Group for girls aged between 9 to 12 years old!

This therapy group will provide pre-adolescents with the opportunity to learn what healthy self-esteem entails, develop strong self-confidence, recognize their strengths, establish and stick to healthy boundaries, learn how to use positive self-talk, and build self-compassion.

With today’s society being heavily influenced by social media, the group also strives to teach each participant how to navigate social media healthily and positively. The group will provide different coping strategies and tools for each participant to take home. We hope to set each girl up for success in navigating their complex and influenceable adolescent and pre-teen years!
