🎄✨ What a magical morning! ✨🎄

Our community had the most wonderful time participating in the Oakville Santa Claus Parade — and we even enjoyed a special visit from Santa himself! 🎅❤️

The morning was filled with laughter, warm cups of hot chocolate, festive cheer, and the best company we could ask for. Moments like these remind us how special it is to celebrate together.

What a spooktacular day filled with fun, laughter, and Halloween spirit! Residents and team members enjoyed amazing pumpkin carving, a festive costume contest, and some thrilling Halloween Trivia and Jams Bingo.

Our residents had a fantastic time getting into the autumn spirit by creating a friendly scarecrow to help welcome everyone at our Open House. It was a fun filled afternoon with creativity, laughter and teamwork as everyone worked together to bring the scarecrow to life. Also big thanks to Your Pumpkin Guy for the beautiful pumpkin display!

Prost to Oktoberfest at The Kensington! 🍻🇩🇪

We had an absolutely wonderful time celebrating Oktoberfest with a full day of festive fun! Our day kicked off with crafting clay-sculpted pretzels, followed by a lively game of German bingo. Residents then got creative decorating their own traditional alpine hats—perfect for the afternoon entertainment, complete with German beer and plenty of chicken dancing! 🐔🎶

We wrapped up the day with an exciting Oktoberfest-themed Jeopardy game in the evening. So many smiles, laughs, and cherished memories shared. What a fantastic way to celebrate together! 💙🍂

From crafting our own yarn pumpkins to a wonderful trip down to Springridge Farm, where we explored the pumpkin patch and browsed the amazing market—what a perfect fall day it’s been! 🍂🎃 With this lovely weather, our residents truly enjoyed every moment of the season’s charm. We had some very special visitors this week! 🐾

Residents were thrilled to welcome the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides for a heartwarming visit. It was such a pleasure to meet some of their incredible dogs and adorable puppies currently in training to become life-changing guide dogs for families in need.

Their visit brought so much joy and plenty of smiles to everyone’s faces! 🐶💛

Thank you to the Lions Foundation for the wonderful experience — we hope to see you again soon!

Recently, Karen fulfilled her lifelong love of music by attending a Jann Arden concert with her granddaughter, while Ernest, a vintage car enthusiast, enjoyed a ride in a restored 1932 Auburn.

Lynwood Park continues to create unforgettable moments that reconnect residents with the things they love most.

Residents at Venvi Churchill Place in Oakville were treated to a tasty presentation from a local student entrepreneur. Charlotte, a 15-year-old with a passion for baking, started her business, Grain & Loaf Co, to showcase that healthy can also mean delicious. Specializing in whole grain, good for you baked items, Charlotte is dedicated to bringing fresh, locally sourced, and handcrafted goods to customers.

Joined by her mother and grandmother, Charlotte brought her baked scones, muffins, and challah bread to share with residents, who were inspired by her energy and passion. She shared her story, recounting how she had taught herself to bake through trial and error, experimenting with healthier ingredients to make her treats more nutritious without sacrificing taste.

By the end of the presentation, Charlotte not only shared her delicious baked goods but also forged connections bridging generations through the joy of baking.

The Bentley Regina recently celebrated their grand re-opening after months of renovations. Residents were joined by Regina’s Mayor, Chad Bachynski, and other members of the community who were able to enjoy the inviting new spaces. The residence features an ode to The Capitol Theatre and an all-new pub called The Honking Goose Tavern. Guests had the opportunity to sample the Pension Plan Pilsner, a collaboration with The Bentley Regina and Pile O Bones Brewery located in Regina - a true Saskatchewan beer. A new resident at Venvi Windsor Park retirement residence felt overwhelmed on her first day, until a group of compassionate residents embraced her warmly. Over lunch, they shared stories and realized they all hailed from the same Italian town. What began as a simple gesture blossomed into an hour of laughter, camaraderie, and encouragement.
