I love curry leaves!

Not to be confused with curry powder, which is a dried spice blend.

These aromatic leaves come from the curry tree (Murraya koenigii) and can be used fresh or dried, whole or chopped. They add a wonderful, slightly spicy and citrusy flavor to dishes and are widely used in Ayurveda for their health benefits—supporting blood sugar balance, immunity, hair health, and digestion. They’re slightly bitter and pungent but absolutely flavorful!

I’ve also been brewing curry leaves with ginger to make a soothing tea for nausea, and I love adding them to my tadkas for an extra boost of aroma.

Friday Foot Tip!

Did you know that specific foot exercises can do wonders for your overall foot health? They help strengthen and stretch your foot muscles, relieve cramping and strain in the arches, ease heel pain, and reduce discomfort from hammertoes, bunions, and toe cramps.

You might wonder, "Why do I need to exercise my feet if I walk or run regularly - or go to the gym?" The truth is, walking or running, even if it's a lot, often happens in shoes that aren’t ideal. Whether your shoes fit well or not, they may not align with your foot’s natural needs. Remember yesterday's post about normal vs. natural? There is a big difference between normal footwear and natural footwear.

Today, I want to remind you that as a reflexology therapist, I see a lot of feet! I love to see clients progress from their foot pain and increase balance and stability. A few daily foot exercises and simple massages, combined with stability routines, can keep your and your feet strong, healthy and pain-free for years to come! You will be thankful as you age. Stay tuned for more tips.

Have a beautiful weekend ❤️

Just wanted to share some helpful info—my sister is currently in a program that supports people with MS. She's learning how to better adapt to the diagnosis and manage her health, both physically and mentally. It’s been such a positive experience for her, with personalized plans that focus on her needs and goals. If you or someone you know is on a similar journey, these kinds of programs can really make a difference. I’ll put the website in my story for more info. 💙
