I had the opportunity to deliver a lecture on the importance of understanding the intricate anatomy of the lower eyelid region an essential factor in preventing complications such as persistent puffiness or inadvertent filler placement within the eye itself. As surgeons, we occasionally encounter these cases during lower eyelid surgery to remove “eye bags” that have worsened following filler injections in this delicate area.
