Dear friends. I wanted to share some updates and news with you.

First I want to apologize for being absent and not keeping you informed as to what has happened with the centre. As of November 2021 the centre in Oakville has been closed. As many of you know I was very ill in 2021 and had to have a life saving surgery and it has taken up until January 2023 to recover. Also during this time my oldest son got diagnosed with cancer in June of 2022 and had multiple rounds of intense chemotherapy where my husband and I took turns living a Sick Kids for 6 months.

With that all past us now, the last few months I have been feeling an energy pull and have been guided to begin providing my services again.

I wanted to start from the beginning, new and fresh so please join me at my new location in Streetsville where I will be launching Zed Healing Arts. Be sure to join me over on my new page for all the exciting news and to book a reflexology and/or a reiki session with me or meet for coffee and a walk by the river :)

I also wanted to take this time to thank my clients and dear friends that have supported me and my family over some very difficult times and I am very excited to see you all very soon in my new healing space.

The Widsom of Trees.

Trees symbolize wisdom, stability, shelter, growth, and renewal. Within the rings of the trees you can see all the signs of stress, resilience and regeneration they have gone through. Trees set a wonderful example of weathering through the seasons of our lives. So when we tune into tress to help ground ourselves we are extending our roots, deepening our own foundation that helps us on our journey through all the storms. As living beings we have a symbiotic relationship with trees as we share our carbon and oxygen with each breath.

Finding your connection and taking in the wisdom of trees is easier than you think. Below is a script for a simple and powerful grounding tree meditation. This meditation can be done anywhere or you can sit beneath a tree.

Grounding Tree Meditation:

Start by closing your eyes and place one hand on your belly and one hand on your heart. Breathe slow and deep into your belly, letting each breath fully exhale.

Imagine that you are walking in a beautiful lush green forest and have found the grandmother tree.

You then sit beneath her, amongst her deep roots, you lean your back against her trunk, feeling her support. As you breathe in you feel the strength, resilience, wisdom and protection fill your entire body and into your heart. As you exhale you release any stress, worry and tension, letting it all go. Continue breathing slow and deep feeling the wonderful, warm and safe connection between you and the grandmother tree.

When you are ready, open your eyes and look at the beauty all around you. Thank the grandmother tree for bringing you back to your true nature of peace and connection.

So what is Reflexology?

At the very beginning of the pandemic when every thing shut down and we had to close I made a promise, we will make it through this and when we reopen we will be here. Well 15 months later and we are still open!

We made it though one of the hardest times of our lives and I am so happy to say we are here for you. This was the promise I made not only for myself but for the practitioners working in the centre and most importantly our clients. They need us more than ever before and we need them just as much.

As soon as one walks through the front door you can feel the warm energy just like a hug, grounding and protecting. The centre is a special place and I am so happy that we can have you all come and feel this energy once again.
