- An eight years old boy attended for an emergency treatment of broken tooth number 2.1.
- History of trauma 24 hour ago; fall while playing and broke the front tooth, the chipped piece was kept in milk.
- Upon clinical exam 2.1 was found responsive to cold and tender on percussion, tender to bite, mobility grade 1 with pulp exposure pocket measurements B2-2-2 P 2-2-2. Radiographically immature root apex on 2.1 was confirmed.
- Diagnosis confirmed of 2.1 Complicated crown fracture/ irreversible pulpitis with symptomatic apical periodontitis and concussion.
- Apexogenesis treatment was done with bioceramic putty and Glass Ionomer and the broken tooth piece was recemented with composite.
- Occlusion was checked. The patient will be followed up 2 weeks, 4 weeks and 8 weeks 6 months and 1-year up to 5 years

Lateral Canal Healing.

The case was a retreatment of 2.5 in one appointment. The CBCT suggested the presence of a possible lateral canal.

Postop X ray shows a lateral canal

Result: Complete healing after one year.
