🍂 Autumnal Equinox: Yin & Yang in Autumn

As we move into autumn, the balance of yin and yang begins to shift.

🌞 Summer is full of yang energy — warmth, activity, and light.
🌙 Autumn brings stronger yin energy — cooler air, longer nights, and a call to slow down and turn inward.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), autumn is connected to the lungs. The lungs govern breathing and immunity, but they’re also sensitive to dryness, cold winds, and emotional stress like grief or sadness. Supporting lung health in autumn helps you stay strong and balanced as yin energy grows.

✨ 5 TCM Tips for Autumn Balance:

1) Eat nourishing soups & stews — root vegetables, pumpkin, ginger, and pears help digestion, moisten dryness, and protect lung energy.

2) Protect your chest & neck — wear a scarf against autumn wind to guard the lungs.

3) Practice deep breathing — slow, mindful breaths strengthen lung qi and calm the mind.

4) Book seasonal acupuncture or TCM care — supports immunity, balances yin and yang, and eases seasonal transitions.

5) Prioritize rest & reflection — go to bed earlier, journal, and embrace yin’s restorative energy.

🍵 Autumn is nature’s reminder: by caring for your lungs and honoring yin and yang, you create balance within yourself. 🌿✨

✨ Curious about how LED light therapy works and why it’s trending in modern wellness practices? Let’s break it down!

LED light therapy uses specific wavelengths of light to pe*****te your skin at different depths, stimulating healing, boosting collagen production, and promoting circulation. Here’s how it works:

🔵 Blue Light:
• Targets the skin’s surface to kill acne-causing bacteria, reduce inflammation, and calm redness.
• Helps balance oil production for clearer, smoother skin.
🔴 Red Light:
• Reaches deeper into the skin to stimulate collagen production, which helps reduce wrinkles and fine lines.
• Promotes healing by increasing circulation and oxygen flow to tissues.
⭕️ Near Infrared Light:
• Penetrates deep into muscles and tissues, offering pain relief, reducing inflammation, and promoting cellular regeneration.
• Speeds up the recovery process by accelerating tissue repair and healing.

🌿 Ready to give your skin and body a natural boost? Combine it with acupuncture for even better results. Your body will thank you!✨

🧧Happy Chinese New Year! The Year of the Dragon.✨

🔮The dragon is anticipated to bring promising opportunities and exciting advancements for all. It symbolizes abundance, strength, power, good fortune and wisdom.

I wanted to share a few techniques I use related to the dragon:

🐉 DOWN THE DRAGON’S BACK (aka Huatuojiaji)
These are acupuncture points that are located near the spine and can treat:

-Spinal issues such as scoliosis, osteoarthritis, sciatica
-Shingles
-Neck pain and tension
-Problems in the arms, legs, hands and feet
-Organ issues such as the lungs, heart, liver, gallbladder, spleen, stomach, kidneys, bladder, large intestine, small intestine, and the uterus.

🐉 SURROUNDING THE DRAGON
An amazing technique I use to help reduce scarring (on the face/body, c-section scarring, scar tissue formation after deep trauma, piercings, burns, and surgery).

This technique I use has also helped my patients with vitiligo, acne, and more.

💯Both of the above help with better Qi and blood circulation and reduces inflammation.
