Dr. Anas Al-Kassem had the honour of meeting with Dr. Michel Gagner during The ASMBS Conference in Texas. Together, they discussed new ideas for the betterment of weight loss surgery.

Dr. Gagner has a long history of surgical research, beginning in 1984. Dr Gagner is best known for his outstanding contributions in the field of Minimally Invasive Surgery. He has over 300 published journal articles, 40 book chapters, and 8 books on minimally invasive surgery.

Dr. Anas Al-Kassem used this opportunity to learn to news techniques and try out the latest technology in the surgical field.
