What matters is what we do now. What matters is what we do next.
I want to thank everyone who has reached out after watching my last video to begin conversations. This in itself is a shift. Personally, professionally and in any business I'm involved with, I will continue to push the agenda forward of equality.
I am grateful to work in a team at where our shared vision is rooted in diversity. We are actively working on ways to offer more support in a thoughtful and meaningful way. While we do this work, please reach out to me personally or to the clinic if you have anything on your mind: questions, thoughts you're struggling with, or examples of support you need, be it directly related to health or otherwise.

A message from our team:
We stand here today, as a team founded on the basis of helping others and working together to achieve health and wellbeing for all. We have been trying to find the words to accurately represent our collective heartbreak and the individual and personal experiences that come up in response to the blatant and senseless racism that has come to the forefront over the past few months. As Canadians, many may want to believe racism doesn’t affect us. It does. It’s quieter, but it’s here.
We want you to know that we, individually and together in our team, stand for equality and will stand up against injustice. We are here for anyone who would like a safe space to talk about their experiences, to support their healing, or to ask questions.
We know many people are angry, confused and unsure where to start to learn more. As a clinic, we will be sharing resources and ways to become more involved. We will be finding ways to keep this conversation alive, because we know that you, like us, want to see real change.
To our black and brown family, we want you to know that we are mourning with you, we stand with you, and we are here for you in any way we can be. Your family is our family and your fight is ours.
