Do you use a smartphone every day? For so many of us, It's hard to imagine life without one. We use it to manage our responsibilities, connect with family and friends, learn about community events, get up to date on what's trending, and so much more.

Modern technology opens up a world of opportunities to enhance our lives. but too many older adults in your community can't access this world because they struggle to use personal devices.

We're on a mission to change this with our Technology Accessibility Program! Volunteers from all around Halton meet with older adults one on one to show them how to use the internet, instant messaging, video calling, and more.

Did you know that over 55 million people are affected by Alzheimer's disease worldwide?

It can be an incredibly difficult condition to manage, but every day countless caregivers show tremendous strength, courage, and heart as they adapt to their situations, leverage available support systems, and create moments of joy with those they love. In our line of work, we see it with our own eyes!

September 21 is Alzheimer's Day, and we want to spread awareness of the disease and honour those who manage it. We invite you to spend some time today learning about Alzheimer's disease and what can entails. You can click here to read up on it: https://buff.ly/rA5ejje
