At Wink Eyecare, we aim to provide exceptional eyecare in a professional, family focused environment. Setting our sights on better vision.

Dr. Chung opened his first practice in Oakville when his first chid was only a year old. Oakville Place Eye Care had a staff of two: himself and a receptionist. He enjoyed providing eye exams to Oakville residents and watching the community grow. Twelve years later and with four kids in tow, Dr. Chung needed more space to fulfill his dream of providing full service eye care, including an eyewear dispensary with a full lab. The practice had outgrown its original blueprint and needed a new location and a new name. Relocating to north Oakville was dictated by community growth patterns and brings Dr. Chung back to his very first house in the wonderful neighbourhood of Oak Park. The name "Wink" captures Dr. Chung's easygoing nature and playful character. Today the practice has expanded to include 4 associate optometrists, 3 opticians, 3 receptionists and 3 frame stylists. It has been a decade-long journey, but Wink Eyecare is Dr. Chung's dream come true.

👓 Eye Wear: How to help patients choose the perfect pair — from fit and comfort to personal style — and how we stock a variety of brands to suit everyone’s needs.

🔬 Behind the Scenes: She even got to see how glasses are made right here in our in-house lab!
