Something shifts in spring that goes beyond the weather.
After months of cold, heaviness, and turning inward, the body begins to stir. Energy that was held and conserved starts moving again. The lymphatic system wakes up. Digestion asks for more. Sleep patterns change. There’s a restlessness that isn’t quite anxiety, it’s more like readiness. The body knows the season has changed, even when the mind is still catching up.
This is exactly the moment reflexology was made for.
I’m Maria, a certified reflexology therapist and clinical aromatherapist practicing here at C’est La Vie.
Reflexology works with specific points on the feet, hands, and face that correspond to organs, systems, and structures throughout the body. By applying precise pressure to these reflex points, a trained therapist supports the body’s ability to regulate, restore, and rebalance, from the inside out.
In spring, I focus on the reflexes associated with the liver, lymphatics, and digestive system, the body’s primary channels of renewal and release. A session at this time of year isn’t just relaxing. It’s like opening the windows after a long winter. The body remembers what it feels like to move freely.
This is the first of five posts this week introducing my work. Each one explores a different modality, and each one is rooted in the same question: what does your body need to fully arrive in spring?
📆p.s: I’m accepting new clients!
