Seed oils are one of the most misunderstood topics right now.

Yes, there are papers claiming they cause inflammation and even cancer.
But when you actually break down the evidence (using tools like RADAR), those claims often come from weaker, non-replicated, or biased sources.

Meanwhile, higher-quality evidence shows neutral or even beneficial effects on cardiometabolic health.

As an oncology dietitian, I care about what actually impacts cancer risk and it’s not one single ingredient. It’s your overall diet, lifestyle, and long-term habits.

Don’t let social media fear-mongering distract you from what truly matters. 🧡

This is your reminder:

Carbohydrates are one of the most misunderstood nutrients.

They provide the primary fuel source for the brain and support physical activity through glycogen stores.

Nutrition science isn’t about eliminating entire food groups. It’s about balance, context, and quality.

Whole grains, fruits, legumes, and vegetables all provide carbohydrates along with fiber and essential nutrients.

Food doesn’t need to be feared to be managed well.

You don’t need a “gut reset.”You need consistent, gut-supportive foods in your routine. 🧡🧡

Start with 2–3 swaps this week, that’s where the change happens.

One of the most common things I hear from patients is:
“I barely eat.”

And often… they genuinely believe that.

But weight regulation is more complex than intake alone. When someone consistently eats too little, the body adapts. Metabolism, hormones, and muscle mass can all be affected.

Sustainable health isn’t about eating as little as possible. It’s about giving your body the nourishment it needs to function well.

Your body isn’t the enemy. It’s responding to the environment you give it.

One of the most common questions I get from patients is:
“How do I know how much protein is in my food?” 🍳 🥩

You don’t need to memorize nutrition labels.
A few simple reference points can help you estimate protein when building meals.

Saving this guide can make balanced meal planning much easier. 🧡

Balanced suhoor, adequate protein, steady hydration, and gentle refeeding at iftar can make a huge difference in how you feel.

If you struggle with low energy, headaches, irritability, brain fog, or cravings…
check your meals before you blame your discipline.
Eating is not optional folks, it’s basic physiology.

Save this for busy days 🧡

Love you but if you’ve been living on lattes and vibes today… it’s time for a snack with some actual protein. 🍳🧡🧡
