✨ The snacks you choose matter more than you think…

If your cravings hit hard in the afternoon or evening, it’s usually a sign that your blood sugar dipped too low — not that you “lack willpower.”

That’s where the 30 / 20 / 10 method comes in:

➡️ 30 grams of carbs
➡️ 20 grams of protein
➡️ 10 grams of healthy fats

Intentionally having balanced snacks keep our cravings controlled the rest of the day - especially into the evening.

Here are some of my favourite easy combos to keep you satisfied (especially during busy holiday weeks).

We usually plan our meal around the carbohydrate first because they are the easiest and most convenient options. Think sandwiches, wraps, pasta, crackers... But if you want fewer cravings, better energy, and steadier blood sugars, you need to think about your protein option first.

👉 Protein
1. Slows digestion
2. keeps you full
3. helps your brain feel satisfied
If you’re hungry 60–90 minutes after eating, it’s usually because protein was missing.

Start noticing how you feel after eating and how soon after you are hungry when your meals are built around these:

✔️ Power Yogurt bowl at breakfast
✔️ Turkey wrap or tuna chickpea salad at lunch
✔️ Chia crusted salmon or turkey child at dinner

Switching to a high protein diet has changed my skin, energy and overall well being. I used to suffer with a lot of hormonal problems and loosing weight was a struggle. Now that I eat at least 35g - 40g of protein, I have lost all cravings and feel full for longer meaning that I don’t ruin my progress on wasteful calories
