✨ Sacred Farewell Ritual for the Heart 💫
You’ll Need:
A candle (white, lavender, or soft pink—whatever calls to you)
A bowl of water or a small dish of salt (elemental grounding)
Something that reminds you of her (photo, crystal, note, flower, etc.)
Optional: soothing music or sound (singing bowl, wind chimes, soft playlist)
🌙 Step 1: Create Sacred Space
Find a quiet place. Sit comfortably. Light your candle and say:
"This is a space of love, truth, and peace. I call in light to hold us both as I open my heart."
Place the water or salt in front of you to represent grounding and presence.
💞 Step 2: Speak Their Name
Gently speak your friend’s full name aloud. Say it slowly, with love. Let yourself feel her presence. You can say something like:
"You are so loved. You are brave. You are free."
You might cry here. That’s sacred. Let it come.
✍️ Step 3: Express What’s in Your Heart
Speak (or write) what you want her to know before she goes. You might say:
"Thank you for the laughter and light."
"I wish we had more time."
"I will always carry your spark in my heart."
If there’s anything unsaid—guilt, confusion, love, a joke you didn’t get to finish—let it out. Spirit hears truth, not perfection.
🌬️ Step 4: A Breath of Release
Place your hands on your heart. Close your eyes. Breathe in love. Exhale grief.
Say this (or your own version):
“I release you with love, not to lose you, but to set you free.
I will miss you fiercely, but I will meet you again in the spaces between stars, in laughter, in light, in dreams.
Fly home, my friend. Fly home.”
🔮 Step 5: Call in Connection
Ask for a sign, if that feels right:
“If you can, let me know when you’re near. A flicker of light, a feather, a whisper in my dreams. I will be listening.”
🕯️ Step 6: Close the Circle
Blow out the candle slowly. Touch the water or salt and say:
"I am still here. I will keep walking with love. And I will carry your light forward."
“I am safe to feel. I am safe to grieve. I am safe to love and let go.”
