👋 Hey Okotoks parents!

Ever wish your child had a safe, supportive space to learn how to understand social cues, start conversations, and make friends?

We run a 12-week Social Skills Group here in Okotoks that’s fun, small-group based, and research-backed (and it’s FSCD funding approved!).

It’s designed especially for kids & teens (ages 4–15) who could use some extra support with:
- Understanding social cues
- Building conversation skills
- Making and keeping friends

✅ How does it work:
- Small groups (max 10 participants/age group)
- Led by a special education teacher who specialize in supporting neurodivergent children & youth
- 3 levels tailored to their age & skills

- Online Parent Orientation Sunday, Sept 7
- In-Person sessions on Sundays from Sept 14-Dec 7

Backed by years of research and designed by experts in neurodivergent support, each level focuses on specific skill sets, including, but not limited to:

Level 1: Social Thinking (Ages 4–7)
✅ Understanding emotions, social cues, and expected behaviours
✅ Joining games, taking turns, and problem solving

Level 2: Conversational Skills (Ages 8–15)
