Albertans aged 16 and over can now access a FREE online health resource for support. Togetherall has partnered with AHS and the Government of Alberta to create an anonymous network that offers peer-to-peer mental health supports, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The site is run by registered mental health practitioners; resources and courses are also available.

Check out this amazing local resource of the summer!

"In Person" Minds Matter locations will be throughout the Foothills over the summer months.

During these times Minds Matter will distribute various wellness kits to children, youth, families. Some include make your own kite kit, others have material to create a worry box, or perhaps decrease anxiety by making a play-doh friend, another includes friendship bracelets, AND sometimes they will just be giving away Freezies!

June is exhausting during a regular year, but during a pandemic, it’s SUPER EXHAUSTING!! I don’t know about all of you, but I’m tired. 😴
So instead of cooking a lovely dinner with all the groceries I have on hand, I’m ordering in! And I don’t feel bad about it!
Do what you need to do to survive this month and don’t feel bad about it!

I’m probably more excited than I should be but tonight I got to meet some amazing kids and teens for my first run of consultations!

Time will tell if they turn into ongoing clients, but I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent getting to know eachother!!

Something to keep in mind.

Mother’s Day is complicated.

For those who have dreamed of motherhood and are still waiting for that dream to come true.

For those whose children have died.

For those who have experienced miscarriage or stillbirth.

For those who have made difficult decisions regarding their motherhood.

For those who made the painful choice to say goodbye.

For those who will only be celebrated for the children in their arms while also mothering the ones in their hearts.

For those who are dealing with infertility.

For those whose motherhood is challenged by society.

For those who aren’t sure where they fit on Mother’s Day.

For those who have complicated relationships with their children.

For those who are experiencing motherhood without support.

For those who are missing their mothers.

For those who have complicated relationships with their mothers.

For those who never knew their mothers.

For those who have reasons beyond this list.

Wow!! I am blown away at the amount of people that liked, followed, shared, and recommended my page!!

I’m not gonna lie, I felt a little overwhelmed and nervous as I watched you all work your magic spreading this new venture. I even started to question whether I could actually do this; but of course I can!! Have I ever ran a business before? Nope! Do I love working with kids/youth? YES!!! And helping struggling kids & youth is the most important part!
