We are looking for Team Players to join us as On-call Casual staff.
Posting Title:
• Emergency Medical Responder – (Posting #: EMR-11526)

Company Description: We specialize in providing medical services to various types of events in Central & Southern Alberta. Some of the types of events we do are: Rodeos, Chuckwagon Racing, Jr Rodeos, Polo, Skijor, Concerts, Festivals, Combative Sports (Boxing, MMA, Muay Thai, Bare Knuckle), Football, Rugby, Water Skiing, Motocross, Downhill/Freestyle/Cross Country Skiing, Luge, Bobsleigh, Snowmobile Racing.
These are not full time or part time positions but on-call casual positions, so they work well when you have time off or a break from your regular employment, or if you are advancing your education and have down time, or are getting into the Paramedicine industry and want to gain some valuable experience.
Responsibilities:
• Work within your Licensed Scope of Practice and the companies Medical Protocols.
• Provide assessment and treatment for the sick and injured.
• Be an Ambassador to the Paramedicine Profession and for Lifelink EMS
• Be Professional, Respectful and Courteous
Qualifications:
• Registered in good standing with the Alberta College of Paramedics.
• Good verbal & written communication skills,
• Must be Personable, work as a part of a team
• Valid Class 4 Alberta Operators License or equivalent.
(will consider a Class 5 but you are not able to drive company vehicles)
• Is Mature, has Initiative & Enthusiastic with decision making & problem solving skills.
Conditions:
• Satisfactory initial and ongoing acceptance by management of Driver’s License/Abstract record.
• Satisfactory acceptance by management of Background and Reference Checks.
• Proof of Immunization may be required for some clients we provide medical to
• Ability to accept ongoing shift work on an on-call casual basis.
• Some clients require a Security Clearance, so must be able to pass
• Ongoing Driver’s Abstract, Security and/or background checks will be a condition of employment.
• Agreement to ongoing drug, substance and/or alcohol testing and satisfactory clearance, if so required.
