On the eve of the teacher strike, I just wanted to share that I support you. Educators are amazing people with huge hearts, and unfortunately loads of stress, especially now. During this difficult time it does look like we will have access to health benefits. So for the duration of the strike I will be reducing my massage rates for teachers to the $75 that ASEBP covers for massage therapy. Please feel free to share this with all your colleagues.

Can massage therapy help with carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS)? Yes!

Massage therapy is an effective way to help relieve CTS-related symptoms and can be used as a preventative measure.

Massage therapy can help treat CTS by reducing inflammation, pain, and numbness in the carpal tunnel. This happens by lengthening the muscles and fascia in the neck, shoulders, arms, wrists, and hand.

Deep tissue massage can be used to stimulate trigger points and reduce the tension in the soft tissues of the shoulder, arm, hand and wrist. It can also help increase joint mobility in those areas.
