Who I am, What I do

I got my start in Massage Therapy by happen stance. I was tired of mindless labor and wanted to make a change in my life. I applied to school on a whim, and was accepted two days later. fast forward to graduation. I was the top of my class! I joined the Massage Therapist Association of Alberta (MTAA) to gain my status as a Registered Massage Therapist(RMT).

Through my practice, I have come to the realization that I have a strong intuition that leads me to the best techniques to best remedy the body’s many issues. I love my job and I find it incredibly rewarding to help every individual I meet get back onto the path of pain-free healthy living. To do this, I use a variety of methods including Swedish massage, fascia work, and orthopedic massage. All of which help me to ease your pain and improve movement. As I continue to educate myself, new modalities will also become incorporated into my treatment sessions. I plan to further my education with cupping courses, RAPID technique (R-NFR), MIPA work level 2, training to become a certified infant massage teacher (CIMT) and continue my orthopedic massage courses.

In my quest for knowledge, I am always seeking new and improved methods of treatment types and techniques, that you as the clients would like to see/use. Client input can be invaluable when it comes to researching and choosing new and advanced treatment options.

Every person is different. Every body is different. It only makes sense that every treatment is different. This is why I tent towards therapeutic massage. I take my skills and knowledge and customize a treatment to meet your needs. I look forward to supporting you on your path to a happy, healthy life.
