This is your official permission slip to close the door.
Starting Wednesday, January 7th, from 6:15–7:15pm, I’m teaching an online yoga class on Zoom.
And it’s not just a class. It’s your hour.
Every Wednesday through February 18th, we’ll carve out 60 minutes of deep breaths, stretchy things, and moving your body in a way that feels good, not perfect.
Can’t make it live? Totally fine. A recording’s available for 48 hours.
So when the kids are in bed, or you finally get 30 quiet minutes with a blanket and a tea, it’s waiting for you.
Because this is about flexibility, in your hips, sure, but mostly in your schedule.
Pro tips for home yoga:
– Find a room with a door. Close it.
– Set the boundary: even the dog can wait an hour.
– Light a beeswax candle. Or don’t. Just make it your little retreat space.
– You don’t need a fancy yoga mat or shiny pants. Sweatpants with a hole in the knee? That’s the uniform.
– Props? Pillows. Rolled blankets. Books. Bathrobe ties. You already own a yoga studio, basically.
This class is for everyone, first-timers, curious try-ers, and seasoned regulars.
I’ll offer different options, and if all you want to do is lie down and breathe? That’s yoga too.
You don’t have to drive in the dark. You don’t even have to brush your hair.
You just need to say yes to one hour that’s just for you.
