Stop losing sleep over seed oils and organic foods, or whatever else is trending this week. 🌱🙄

If you haven’t nailed these first, choosing the exact right oil is not going to do anything to fix your energy or weight:

🥚 Protein at breakfast (biggest meal > dinner)
🌱 Fiber to crush cravings (Metamucil is your friend)
🥕 Veggies at lunch + dinner (baby carrots count, promise)
🏋️‍♀️ Two strength sessions a week
💛 And when you slip? Say: “Next choice is a fresh choice”

Focus on what actually moves the needle. Once these are habit, THEN we can fight over organic and oils.

In almost every initial visit, I am reviewing a patient’s previous labs through a naturopathic “lens”, and then suggesting further testing that I think could give us a clearer picture of what’s going on.

While we can often assume what is going on using your symptoms, many symptoms overlap and can be caused by several different things. The initial lab assessment is key to making sure we start off on the right path.

You don’t have to be perfect to lose weight. 🥳

Forget the buzzwords and focus on the fundamentals. Prioritize whole, healthy foods like veggies, fruits, proteins, and whole grains. Balance your macros. Beware of marketing tricks – a green leaf doesn't make it a health food.

If progress stalls, consider personalized tools like blood work or genetic analysis to help identify if you actually need to take a different approach with your diet. 🔍

Your path to wellness is unique, and sometimes, simplicity is the key.

*Of course, some exceptions apply. If you are Celiac or clearly have a sensitivity to gluten or dairy for example, you probably shouldn’t eat them!
