CDC offers MRI, CT, Ultrasound 2D/3D and 4D real-time, Mammography, Pain Management, Bone Densitometry, Fluoroscopy, and X-Ray services across 17 community clinics in Calgary, Edmonton, Okotoks and Sherwood Park.

🦴 What is a BMD exam?
A BMD (Bone Mineral Density) exam is a quick, painless test that measures the strength of your bones. It helps detect osteopenia or osteoporosis.

A BMD exam is often recommended if you're over 65, postmenopausal, or have certain risk factors like family history, low body weight, or long-term steroid use.

💰 Do I have to pay for my exam?
It depends! Most general diagnostic imaging services, like X-ray, ultrasound, and mammography, are covered by Alberta Health. ✅

However, some services like MRI, CT, and certain pain management injections are patient-pay services.
